SKI SCHOOL in St. Moritz – ADULTS
It’s never too late to learn to ski and with the new carving skis it’s easier than in the past; moreover, teaching methods have developed and today it is easier to avoid the fears of beginner adult skier.
For each type of course our ski school offers a maximum number of participants and a minimum number of hours to reach the best result. The courses will take place on the best Engadine slopes: in St Mortiz and Celerina at Corviglia, in Silvaplana at Corvatsch, in Sils at Furtschelllas, in Maloja, in Pontresina at the Bernina Diavolezza and Lagalb, in Samedan and in Zuoz, depending on requests of the client and on the best snow and weather conditions.
BEGINNER SKI COURSE
- What you will learn during this course: learning is subjective and the course will be adapted to the learning abilities of each participant; in general during a 15 hour course you will learn snow plough and turns, on blue slopes.
With the 25-hour course you will also learn to set the first turns with parallel skis on blue slopes. You will be able to handle all the blue slopes safely

INTERMEDIATE SKI COURSE
- A prerequisite for taking part in this course is that you have completed a basic course in which snow ploughing and snow plough turns on blue slopes are consolidated
- What you will learn during this course: learning is subjective and the course will be adapted to the learning abilities of each participant; in general, during a 15-hour course you will learn to set up skidded parallel turns and you will be able to try to face the first simple red slopes. With the 25-hour course you will learn well skidded parallel turns and you will be able to ride the red slopes safely
ADVANCED COURSE
- A prerequisite for taking part in this course is to perform skidded parallel turns on blue and red slopes
- What you will learn during this course: learning is subjective and the lessons will be adapted to the learning abilities of each participant; in general, during a 15-hour course you will learn how to set up the concatenated conduct turn and you will be able to ride the simplest black slopes. With the 25-hour course you will be able to handle the well conduct turns and short radius turns on red and black slopes
EXPERT COURSE
- A prerequisite for taking part in this course is to perform conduct parallel turns on red slopes
- What you will learn during this course: learning is subjective and the course will be adapted to the learning abilities of each participant; in general, during a 15-hour course you will learn how to set up carving turns and fix the short radius turns on red and black slopes. With the 25-hour course you will also learn some tricks (jumps) in snowparks

TRIAL COURSE
- What you will learn during this ski course: how to move safely on the snow on flat areas and gentle slopes; the correct position to keep on skis; gliding on small descents with parallel skis; snow plough braking. In this course we set the fundamentals which will then be deepened in the complete basic course

TECHNIQUE REVIEW COURSE
- It can happen that you stop skiing for long periods and even if you have practiced this sport assiduously in the past you no longer feel safe. For this reason, we offer specific lessons to review the technique so that you can start skiing again safely

- Are you an expert skier, but you want to further improve your technique? Follow our specific lessons, supported by video analysis to refine your style to the maximum
