SKI SCHOOL in St. Moritz – KIDS
In our ski school both teaching methods and ways of learning vary according to the age of the children. Therefore our courses differ both according to the age and according to the level of the children.
The courses will take place on the best Engadine slopes: in St Mortiz and Celerina at Corviglia, in Silvaplana at Corvatsch, in Sils at Furtschelllas, in Maloja, in Pontresina at the Bernina Diavolezza and Lagalb, in Samedan and in Zuoz, depending on requests and the ski level of the kids and on the best snow and weather conditions.
AGE RANGE: 3-4 YEARS (Lessons with 1-2 kids)
BEGINNER SKI COURSE
Course aimed at children who have never skied before or who have tried skiing but don’t know how to brake with a snowplough.
What you will learn during this course: kids will learn to move independently on the snow, to brake and turn with snow plough skis.
ADVANCED SKI COURSE
Course aimed at children who already know how to brake with snow ploughs on pists with slight slope and know the basics of moving on the snow.
What you will learn during this course: kids will consolidate the forms of moving on the snow to be autonomous in going uphill and braking with snow plough; they will learn the snow plough turns on blue slopes.

BEGINNER SKI COURSE
Course aimed at children who have never skied or who have tried skiing but don’t know how to brake with a snow plough.
What you will learn during this course: kids will learn to move independently on the snow, to brake and turn in snowplow. Based on their aptitudes, they will also be able to learn how to set up skiing with parallel skis in the traverses, on blue slopes.
ADVANCED 1
Course aimed at children who know how to brake and turn with a snow plough.
What you will learn during this course: kids will consolidate snow plough braking and turns; they will begin to set up skiing with parallel skis in the traverse on red slopes.
ADVANCED 2
Course aimed at children who know how to brake and turn with a snow plough on red slopes and cross the traverse with parallel ski.
What you will learn during this course: kids will learn to make skidded parallel turns on blue slopes.

In this age group, learning is very rapid: in our ski school even beginners in one week can learn to make parallel skidded turns.

What you will learn during this course: kids will learn to consolidate snowplough braking and turns; they will start setting up parallel skis in the traverse of red slopes, side slipping with parallel skis and braking with parallel skis.
ADVANCED 2
A requirement for this course is to brake and turn with a snowplow on red slopes and crossing blue slopes with parallel skies.
What you will learn during this course: the kids will learn the skidded parallel turn on blue slopes.
ADVANCED 3
A requirement for this course is make parallel skidded turns on blue slopes.
What you will learn during this course: the kids will learn to make skidded parallel turns on red slopes.
ADVANCED 4
A requirement for this course is to make the parallel skidded turns on red slopes.
What you will learn during this course: the kids will learn the parallel skidded turns and the short radius turns on on red and black slopes.
