SKI CHILDREN
SKI SCHOOL IN ST. MORITZ – KIDS
The courses will take place on the best Engadine slopes: in St Mortiz and Celerina at Corviglia, in Silvaplana at Corvatsch, in Sils at Furtschelllas, in Maloja, in Pontresina at the Bernina Diavolezza and Lagalb, in Samedan and in Zuoz, depending on requests and the ski level of the kids and on the best snow and weather conditions.
The days of the packages can also be divided into several weekends
KIDS PRIVATE LESSONS
In a private lesson, the instructor adapts the teaching to the student’s level, thus achieving maximum teaching efficiency.
Clearly personalized teaching is the most effective way to learn this sport. In particular for beginners who have never skied before, it is essential to be supported by a private instructor.
Ski lessons with a private instructor can be shared with other family members or friends. However, it must be considered that the level of people participating has to be the same.
In particular if the level is beginner, never skied before, it is recommended that there are no more than 2 children.
KIDS GROUP LESSONS
Group ski lessons are for children from 5 years and up.
The groups are made up of a maximum of 5-6 children to allow the instructor to involve everyone and thus allow a high quality of teaching. The groups are divided according to skiing level:
Beginner Ski Course
for those who have never skied before with the aim of learning how to brake and turn snowplough.
For better teaching efficiency, private lessons are recommended for children who have never skied before, so that they can learn the basics quickly and then be able to have fun in a group.
We recommend taking lessons with a private instructor until the children are able to brake and turn with snowplough. Later it is possible to include the children in the intermediate level class; in this way children can have fun and learn the next stages in a group.
Advanced 1
Course aimed at children who know how to brake and turn with a snow plough.
- What you will learn during this course: kids will learn to consolidate snowplough braking and turns; they will start setting up parallel skis in the traverse of red slopes, side slipping with parallel skis and braking with parallel skis.
Advanced 2
A requirement for this course is to brake and turn with a snowplow on red slopes and crossing blue slopes with parallel skies.
- What you will learn during this course: the kids will learn the skidded parallel turn on blue slopes.
Advanced 3
A requirement for this course is make parallel skidded turns on blue slopes.
- What you will learn during this course: the kids will learn to make skidded parallel turns on red slopes.
Advanced 4
A requirement for this course is make parallel skidded turns on red slopes.
- What you will learn during this course: the kids will learn the parallel skidded turns and the short radius turns on on red and black slopes.
HALF DAY:
9.30-13.00, including pick up by minibus at the accommodation at 9.15 am; Meeting at 13 with parents on the slopes (Corviglia or Marguns)
Price 130 CHF
FULL DAY:
9.30-15.30, including pick up by minibus at 9.15 am and return to the accommodation.
Price 180 CHF +25 CHF for lunch.
Ski racing
- For all who can already ski with parallel skis;
- 10 full days;
- you learn to do giant slalom, with former sports athletes who will convey their passion for competition.
