BEGINNER COURSE

  • The requirement for this course is good on-piste skiing technique with parallel ski skidded turns and short radius curves
  • What you will learn during this course: you will learn what safety equipment is required (shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver) and how to use it; the characteristics of skis and snowboards for off-piste must have; notions on safety, and on which weather and snow conditions are necessary to face off-piste descents safely

  • The requirement to participate in a freeride day is to have already done a freeride or tour basic course
